Gift Grotto

Santa is busy preparing for Christmas; the elves are hard at work making all the toys, and the reindeer are ready, but the toys still need to be wrapped! It's up to you to help Santa by wrapping as many toys as you can before it's Christmas and the time runs out!

Gift Grotto is a simple, comforting gift-wrapping game set in the snowy North Pole. Get yourself in the Christmas spirit and help Santa by playing in the time-limited challenge mode, or unwind with the freeplay mode and relax with some Christmas music.

Gift Grotto is my second game, made in the Godot Engine over a few weeks during my spare time alongside my regular 9-5 job. I originally wanted Gift Grotto to have many more features, but after starting a new job and taking a holiday, I am pleased with what I achieved. Thank you for playing my games, and I look forward to building my dream game one day.

You can change controls, mouse sensitivity, audio and graphics settings in the Options menu.

How to play:

Visit the postbox in the town square to see what gifts the latest letter is asking for. Grab a gift box from the cabin, take the lid off and drop in the presents they have requested. Once you have finished, pop the lid back on and drop the gift box into Santa's sleigh. Another letter will be waiting for you!
